My name is Dr. Michael Ramey
and as a psychologist I pride
myself in offering competent and compassionate psychotherapy
to all of my clients.
Psychotherapy gives us the chance to develop a deeper understanding of our lives. This understanding empowers us within virtually every domain of our lives. This includes our relationships, our careers and ultimately the opportunity to become the best version of ourselves.
The approach I use is to help people develop insight into their struggles, hopes, thoughts, feelings and needs. This includes understanding why you make the choices that you do and through this insight being empowered to manage your live the best you possibly can. This appraoch can be applied to a diverse range of situations and can help people from various backgrounds and experiences.
My theoretical orientation is psychodynamic. This means that I help people understand unconscious themes within their lives. With all of the clients that I am privileged to work with, I strive to offer the deepest level of respect and understanding.
